Genetic Diversity and Population Differentiation of Pinus koraiensis in China

چکیده

Pinus koraiensis is a well-known precious tree species in East Asia with high economic, ornamental and ecological value. More than fifty percent of the P. forests world are distributed northeast China, region abundant germplasm resources. However, these natural sources danger genetic erosion caused by continuous climate changes, disturbances such as wildfire frequent human activity. Little work has been conducted on population structure differentiation China because lack information. In this study, 480 individuals from 16 populations were sampled genotyped. Fifteen polymorphic expressed sequence tag-simple repeat (EST-SSR) markers used to evaluate diversity, koraiensis. Analysis molecular variance (AMOVA) EST-SSR marker data showed that 33% total variation was among 67% within populations. A level diversity found across populations, highest levels HH, ZH, LS TL Moreover, pairwise Fst values revealed significant (mean = 0.177). According results STRUCTURE Neighbor-joining (NJ) analyses principal component analysis (PCA), studied geographical cluster into two clusters: 1 Xiaoxinganling Mountains 2 Changbaishan Mountains. These consistent distributions The provide new information for future genome-wide association studies (GWAS), marker-assisted selection (MAS) genomic (GS) breeding programs can aid development conservation management strategies valuable conifer species.

Genetic Diversity and Population Differentiation of Calanthe tsoongiana, a Rare and Endemic Orchid in China

Calanthe tsoongiana is a rare terrestrial orchid endemic to China, and this species has experienced severe habitat loss and fragmentation. Inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) markers were employed to assess the genetic diversity and differentiation of six populations of C. tsoongiana. Based on 124 discernible fragments yielded by eleven selected primers, high genetic diversity was revealed at t...

Genetic differentiation and diversity of Callosobruchus chinensis collections from China

Callosobruchus chinensis (Linnaeus) is one of the most destructive pests of leguminous seeds. Genetic differentiation and diversity analysis of 345 C. chinensis individuals from 23 geographic populations using 20 polymorphic simple sequence repeats revealed a total of 149 alleles with an average of 7.45 alleles per locus. The average Shannon's information index was 1.015. The gene flow and gene...

Genetic Diversity and Population Structure of Whitebark Pine (Pinus albicaulis Engelm.) in Western North America

Whitebark pine (WBP, Pinus albicaulis Engelm.) is an endangered conifer species due to heavy mortality from white pine blister rust (WPBR, caused by Cronartium ribicola) and mountain pine beetle (Dendroctonus ponderosae). Information about genetic diversity and population structure is of fundamental importance for its conservation and restoration. However, current knowledge on the genetic const...
